Here is my on-line photo journal of the April to May
2012 book tour, starting in San Francisco, up to Seattle, and then landing in Alaska for almost a month of engagements around
the state. Want to know what it feels like to go on an author book tour? Well, let me tell you...

Here are my bags all packed and ready to go. Tomorrow morning bright
and early, I head to the airport for the flight to San Francisco. Lucy (The Doggie Diva) inspects my bags as they
sit all packed by the front door. She doesn't like suitcases because she knows that means someone is leaving. But she
has given her seal of approval to the house sitters I have lined up, so I think she will enjoy being spoiled by them and shouldn't
miss me too much. My chihuahua is a very good judge of character, and if Lucy likes you, you are IN.
After a non-stop eleven-hour flight (I watched four movies) I arrived in
San Francisco.

Check out that orange bridge. From up here you can see the curvature of the Earth. |

This is a Pony Express stage coach at the Wells Fargo Museum. |
This would have been a very bumpy ride. |

Imagine the experiences those pony express riders must have had. |

With Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker, from L.A. LAW. |

I went to The Booksmith on Haight Street the day before my first book-signing
event of the tour to make sure everything was all set and ready to go. The Booksmith has hosted some pretty amazing people
and you never know who you might meet there. I was delighted to find that actor/author Michael Tucker was there that night
with his wife Jill Eikenberry doing a reading from his third book, AFTER ANNIE. Here he is holding my book, while I am holding
a copy of his. You might remember them as the husband and wife team from the tv show L.A. LAW. Since the show ended, they
have been involved in a number of creative endeavors including film acting projects and writing a string of books. Not only
are they a multi-talented couple, they were very gracious and wonderful to meet.
